The FDA sets our countries food guidelines that clearly create a more negative impact on your body to then require the drugs they create and approve. An Example of this, One of the most sold drugs in the United States is lisinopril, it is used to lower Blood Pressure. The number one cause of high blood pressure is Consuming too many Animal Products, "Cholesterol blockage". The FDA pushes us to consume similar types of foods which are Animal products.
The Drug industry alone in this 2 part conflicting association makes $515 billion dollars a year. The only way they sell drugs is based on the demand for it. If people are guided to eat higher quantities of bad "trigger" types of foods, then they will inevitably require the drugs also provided by the FDA to combat their "symptoms".
Instead of changing the "source" of the problem which are the types of food that were told to eat.
